Treasure Gulch 4 is a 20.66 Acre Lode Claim situated just outside Mayer in Yavapai County. Several feeder washes and a creekbed flow through the claim, continuously introducing new material. You'll find some beautiful exposed bedrock areas in the washes and numerous excellent spots for metal detecting. We discovered a few nuggets while detecting the larger bends in the creekbed. The gold in this region is mainly lode-vein material found in Paleoproterozoic metamorphic rock. The hills around produced coarse lode gold that has weathered into the gulches. There is easy access to the claim with roads through the claim as well. (A 4x4 or even a high-clearance 2wd truck/SUV could manage it.) This area features rich ground with significant mineralization and plenty of quartz float scattered throughout. The bedrock consists of Neoproterozoic to Paleoproterozoic metamorphic rocks. Intense tectonic heat and pressure have forced mineral-rich fluids into the schist's cracks, creating pockets of gold, silver, copper, and substantial carbonate deposits. You are purchasing an unpatented mining claim, which includes all interest in the claim. The claim is staked and marked according to Arizona mining laws. Claim ownership will be transferred to you via a quit claim deed once payment is received in full. The transfer will be recorded with the local County Treasurer as well as with the Arizona Bureau of Land Management per state law. Claim ownership grants you full control over all minerals on the claim as long as you maintain ownership with the BLM by paying an annual maintenance fee of $200 by September 1st of each calendar year. (or $15 if filing a small miner waiver for 10 or fewer claims) This claim is paid in full thru September 1st, 2027.
