Treasure Gulch 1 is a 20.66 Acre Lode Claim located just outside of Mayer in Yavapai County. Multiple feeder washes run through the claim so there is new material being introduced all the time. There is an old open pit mine on the claim and the hill on the east side of the claim has multiple exposed veins and lots of quartz outcroppings that feed new material down into the creek bed. There are some nice exposed bedrock areas in the washes and lots of good areas to metal detect. This area has very rich ground with high mineralization. There is seasonal water and sometimes there is water present during other parts of the year depending on rainfall. This is a beautiful claim with lots of good areas to work. You can get onto the claim with 4WD and there is a trail that runs the length of the claim. (Note: Due to the width of the trail and the terrain in a couple spots, you need an OHV, quad, or Jeep if you want to drive the entire length of the trail.)
I found gold on this claim using a PI metal detector, crushing ore, and crevacing in the feeder washes.

You are purchasing an unpatented mining claim, which includes all interest in the claim. The claim is staked and marked according to Arizona mining laws. Claim ownership will be transferred to you via a quit claim deed once payment is received in full. The transfer will be recorded with the local County Treasurer as well as with the Arizona Bureau of Land Management per state law. Claim ownership grants you full control over all minerals on the claim as long as you maintain ownership with the BLM by paying an annual maintenance fee of $200 by September 1st of each calendar year.
